Protesters marched down North 6th St. in Philadelphia, calling for increased protections for immigrants within the city Wednesday.
Representative Christopher M. Rabb addressed protesters outside the Liberty Bell Plaza. “We have power and influence if we use it humanely,” said Rep. Rabb. “Im here because your fight is my fight.”

Abby Hyde, a teacher for the Nationality Service Center, explains her reasons for attending the protest, saying, “Immigrants saved Philadelphia” and “all parents want is for their kids to get an equal education.”
