NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is looking to identify and arrest a suspect in an Uptown residential burglary. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

According to police, the burglary happened around 12:18 p.m. on Oct. 9 in the 5200 block of Constance Street. Police also released an image from a security camera that shows the suspect.

Police did not say what was taken from the home except that it was a, “…significant quantity of jewelry.”

Three days prior to the Constance Street case, there was another residential burglary, just a few blocks away, on Valmont Street. And two days before the Constance burglary, there was yet another one, just over a block away, on Magazine Street. Both of the other cases happened during daylight hours, between 10:20 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

At this point, there’s no indication that the cases are related. Police are only blaming the suspect for the Constance Street burglary.
