Twelve Players Win $10,000 or More in New Jersey Lottery Games Last Week

A dozen players across New Jersey scored $10,000 or more last week. Two walked away with prizes topping a million dollars. The state lottery agency released its weekly winners on Tuesday, April 21.

According to North Jersey.com, the top prize? A $4 million Mega Millions ticket sold April 14 at Garden State Dairy on Oakland Avenue in Closter. Someone also grabbed a Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $1,459,039 on April 16 at Wegmans Food Markets on Woodbridge Center Drive in Woodbridge.

Two Powerball tickets hit $50,000 each. Someone bought one April 15 through Jackpocket.com. The other came from Speedway on Central Avenue in Orange on April 18.

Scratch-off games delivered four Crossword-style wins between $20,000 and $25,000. A player snagged $25,000 from Crossword Bonanza on April 13 at Wawa on Highway 34 in Farmingdale. Sol Deli Cafe on Elm Street in Newark sold a $20,000 Crossword ticket April 16.

Aiwa Food Store on Ridge Road in Lyndhurst sold another $20,000 prize from $250,000 Crossword on April 17. Gas & Mini Mart on W. Landis Avenue in Vineland sold the fourth Crossword ticket worth $20,000 on April 18.

Five additional scratch-offs paid $10,000 apiece. Charlie’s Liquor on Gheysens Avenue in Vineland sold a 50X ticket April 13. Kix Package Goods on 63rd Street in Sea Isle City sold a Mega Hot 7’s ticket worth $10,000 on April 16.

Two more $10,000 winners came from 50X and 100X Bolla scratch-offs. Welsh Farms Speedy Mart on Mountain Avenue in Springfield sold one 50X ticket April 16. The 193 Mahwah Truck Stop on Route 17 North in Mahwah sold a 100X Bolla ticket April 17.

Winners came from Bergen, Middlesex, Monmouth, Cumberland, Essex, Cape May, and Union counties. Stores sold all tickets between April 13 and April 20.
