Karvois named SV Student of the Month for March

SHENANDOAH – Shenandoah Valley High School is recognizing their March Student of the Month.

Jourdin Karvois was selected for the honor and will be recognized at the April 22 school board meeting.

She is president of the Drama Club and Aevidum Club, vice president of National Honors Society and Art Club, Marching Band Drum Major, Captain of the Academic Bowl team and more.

In the community, she’s planted flags locally at cemeteries for Veterans Day and at Arlington Cemetery for Christmas, painted snow plows for West Mahanoy Township, volunteered at field day at SV Elementary, and helped with Heritage Day in Shenandoah.

In her free time, she enjoys knitting crocheting, playing video games, traveling with her family, and more.

She plans to attend Villanova University pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering.
