Bittree, a supplier of patching systems for broadcast, pro audio, AV and government, will return as a standalone exhibitor at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 18-22, with new patchbays and enclosures designed for IP and hybrid facilities. The company will exhibit in Booth C6985.

Founded in 1978, Bittree continues under CEO-founder Glenn Garrard, whose early work at Motown and Merv Griffin Studios helped shape pre-wired, chassis-based patching systems for professional studios. “These challenges still exist today, and the proven reliability of patchbays, panels and patching accessories remains the most valuable and effective approach to solving them,” Garrard said, noting today’s added complexity as customers move video, audio and data across mixed infrastructures.

On the show floor, Bittree will feature:

  • Flush-mount, high-density modular keystone patchbays for IP and data-centric workflows feeding ST 2110, AES67 and other networks. Configurations span fiber, copper and mixed options, with connectors including ST, LC and SC fiber, and RJ45 CAT6/CAT6A punchdown or feed-through, shielded or unshielded adapters.
  • Patch32A, billed as the first Dante audio patchbay, for integrating analog audio and Dante network patching with transparent A/D-D/A cross-conversion across equipment rooms, studios and IT spaces.
  • High-performance 12G+ BNC patch panels for HD, 4K and 8K applications, supporting data rates up to 48 Gb/s with 75-ohm impedance and low return loss, in 1×16, 1×24, 1×32, 2×16 and 2×24 configurations for SDI baseband and hybrid environments.

Bittree will also show the DSFB124NL-ST fiber-optic patch panel enclosure for IT convergence. The slide-out, feed-through design with steel gliding rails targets connections to core switches and routing systems in data centers, TV and radio facilities, and live venues. “It is a true server-to-machine solution to interconnect backbone cabling to active equipment, or cross-connect to a main or horizontal distribution system,” Garrard said, calling it a modular platform with removable inserts that favors expansion and reconfiguration over replacement.
