
With AWS re: invent occurring this week, several vendors have significant things to say. Databahn has announced that its data pipeline platform is now available on the AWS Marketplace. The two listings are: Databahn Highway and Data Fabric Smart Edge. The products form the core of its AI-powered, high-performance data fabric platform.Datadog has announced a new strategic collaboration with the cloud giant and a raft of new products. The company already has over 100 AWS-specific integrations. These sixteen new solutions deepen that relationship.
Salesforce also held its World Tour London event this week. Zahra Bahrololoumi, Salesforce UK & Ireland CEO, delivered the keynote address at the Salesforce World Tour event at London’s ExCeL Centre. Bahrololoumi discussed the launch of Agentforce 360. A new platform that connects customers, employees, operations, and agents in a seamless way.
Salesforce also reported multiple contract successes with Workdry, Simplyhealth, and Nexo for its Agentforce platform.

AAB, a leading professional services firm across the UK, Ireland, and the USA, has announced the acquisition of GS Verde. A professional services firm based in Bristol that advises businesses on sales, acquisitions, and mergers.
Thomson Reuters has announced a 5-year partnership with Imperial College London to create the new Frontier AI Research Lab at the University.

Azul has revealed that Ausgrid, the largest electricity distributor on Australia’s east coast, has migrated its Java applications to the Azul Platform Core. The project reduced its Java licensing costs by 80%. With the firm also seeing a 99% reduction in vulnerabilities across its IT environment. Before Azul, the electricity distributor had relied on Oracle for its Java platform and support.
Newgen Software has announced that Old Second National Bank (OSNB) has implemented its Digital Account Opening and Maintenance Solution.

Datadog has announced the general availability of Bits AI SRE after its soft launch in June at DASH. The release comes after 2,000 customers have tested and used Bits AI SRE in production for almost six months. The results of that testing show that customers have seen troubleshooting times plummet. Customers now report that what used to take hours of manual troubleshooting is now resolved in just minutes.
At Zoholics Saudi Arabia, Zoho announced the availability of VAT-compliant Zoho POS for Saudi businesses. The firm also highlights recent updates to the Zoho One suite of applications, making it even more attractive to businesses.
Research
There is a huge shortage of talent in various technical areas. Research commissioned by Deel has identified a major cause of the current talent shortage in both the US and the UK. In the UK, 60% (US 55%) of business leaders have said that visa restrictions have led to critical hiring delays.
Deltek has launched a new blueprint to guide Architectural, Engineering and Consulting firms through strategic growth. Alongside a short announcement, Deltek has published “The Growth Blueprint”. A 14-page report that lays out five pillars to give UK small and mid-sized firm leaders practical steps to strengthen visibility, build resilience, and secure sustainable, long-term growth.
The five pillars that enable firms to growth sustainably are: Clarity, Control, Cash, Clients and Connection. These make up the growth formula.
Research by Gong Labs found that companies that have embedded AI into revenue processes are 65% more likely to increase win rates. The Second Annual State of Revenue AI report examines how AI is impacting revenue organisations. The report found that those teams leveraging AI have generated 77% more revenue per representative. It is no wonder that 96% of respondents believe their teams will be using AI by 2026.
Zenrows has published the findings from a survey of 250 leaders in UK SMEs on competitor intelligence. Carried out by 3Gem, the survey looked at knowledge-based businesses with fewer than 250 employees. It found that only 53% regularly collect and use competitive data. Despite this low figure, respondents believe that 37% of their competitors use business intelligence most or all of the time, and a further 54% use it some of the time.

Azul announced the successful closing of its previously announced majority strategic investment from Thoma Bravo, a leading software investment firm. This closing marks a significant milestone in Azul’s growth journey. It strengthens its ability to meet the rising demand for high-performance Java platforms, scale its innovation, expand its global reach and deliver even greater value to customers.
As previously announced, existing investors, Vitruvian Partners and Lead Edge Capital, have also made new investments in the company and will retain significant minority stakes alongside Azul’s employees.

Cybage Software
Cybage Software revealed how it helped a data privacy and consent management SaaS vendor transform its content delivery using the Model Context Protocol SEO. The team built an automated system to deliver daily SEO-focused topic ideas. Thus strengthening enterprise SEO solutions and streamlining content workflows. Synced topics to an internal content calendar to support planning across SaaS and B2B operations.
It transitioned the ecosystem into a Claude-powered Model Context Protocol (MCP) for scalable, high-quality content aligned with SEO practices. It added a Knowledge Graph and Style Guide layer to produce publishing-ready, brand-aligned, AI search-optimised content.

Deltek
Deltek published a case study about Fincantieri Marinette Marine (FMM), a world-class naval shipbuilder that has designed and built more than 1,500 vessels. The firm adopted Deltek ProPricer to transform its pricing methodology.
After using ProPricer for 8 years, its pricing processes have undergone a significant transformation. FMM slashed bid cycle times to a fraction of what they once were, eliminated endless back-and-forth with primes, and gained confidence in every estimate.
With ProPricer enforcing consistency across rate tables and cost relationships, errors are caught automatically. Change order problems are also a thing of the past, as FMM can price the largest of them in just a couple of hours once the estimates are complete. There is no more negotiating on form and format. What took weeks now takes hours.

Infor announced two significant milestones in its relationship with AWS. It has launched Infor Velocity Suite as a private offer in AWS Marketplace and has become a Launch Partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, deploying Infor LN.

NetApp
NetApp announced a new capability that enables enterprises to simplify and improve the efficiency of their workflows by connecting Amazon Web Services (AWS) AI and Analytics services directly to their NetApp data, both in the cloud and on-premises.
Amazon S3 Access Points for Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP enable customers to accelerate AI and analytics projects by allowing FSx for ONTAP-resident file data to be accessed via the S3 API by AWS’s extensive portfolio of AI/ML and analytics services—all while the data remains in place and is fully accessible for read / write via file protocols.
