A woman is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after an apparent hit-and-run early Monday morning in South St. Paul.
According to South St. Paul police, officers were called to a reported medical incident along Third Avenue South near Southview Boulevard at around 12:15 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman seriously hurt from apparently being hit or possibly dragged by a vehicle, police say.
Officers rendered aid until medics arrived and took the woman to a hospital, where she remains.
The involved vehicle left the scene before police arrived.
Investigators are now trying to find the person responsible.
No details regarding a possible suspect have been released at this time.
