NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 4, in connection with a homicide on Bienville Street.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, 21-year-old Brandon Joseph is accused in the case. NOPD officials said he was in the custody of the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office and was rebooked on a charge of second-degree murder.
NOPD officials said on Oct. 9, 61-year-old Miguel Stemley was reportedly involved in a struggle with an alleged carjacker, when the vehicle rolled and pinned him underneath.
Stemley was taken to a hospital where he later died.
