Kenner Police search for man accused of child sex crimes

KENNER, La. (WGNO) — The Kenner Police Department is searching for a man accused of various child sex crimes on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

According to the KPD, 56-year-old Michael Walker is accused of sex crimes against a child, including first-degree rape, sexual battery and indecent behavior with a juvenile.

KPD officials said Walker has a criminal history of burglary, possession of stolen property, drug possession and disarming a police officer.

KPD officers said Walker is considered dangerous and should not be approached. They encouraged people to call 911 if he is seen.
