Saints trade offensive lineman Trevor Penning to Chargers: Report
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Just a little over two hours before the NFL trade deadline ends, the New Orleans Saints traded offensive lineman Trevor Penning to the Los Angeles Chargers, according to NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
In exchange, the Saints will receive the Chargers’ 2027 sixth-round pick.
This is the second trade the Saints made during the trade deadline. In the early afternoon on Nov. 4, the Saints traded deep threat wide receiver Rashid Shaheed to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a fourth and fifth-round pick.
