Man shot and killed on Bienville Street

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man was shot and killed in New Orleans Tuesday, Sept. 30.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, at around 5:13 p.m. officers responded to shots fired in the 3500 block of Bienville Street. Officers found the victim a block away in the rear parking lot of a building in the 3400 block of Canal Street.

The man had at least one gunshot wound. EMS arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
