
Friday temperatures: Friday will begin with some of the coldest temperatures of the season so far. Lows Friday morning will range from the upper 30s to middle 40s. It will be a little warmer on Friday afternoon with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s. It will stay clear for trick-or-treating with temperatures falling through the 60s into the 50s.
A little weekend rain: Futurecast shows that we will see a clear sky over the ArkLaTex on Thursday night and plenty of sunshine on Friday. Clouds will increase on Friday night with a small chance for a little light rain late Friday night. Expect a cloudy sky on Saturday with the chance of rain, mainly limited to the southern half of the area. The rain and clouds will move out on Saturday night, giving way to plenty of sunshine on Sunday.
Long-range outlook: Once the rain exits the area on Saturday night, we will settle into a dry weather pattern that could last through all of next week. A few models are indicating that we could see a little rain sometime late next week. Rainfall totals during the next ten days will be well below normal as the Blend of Models still indicates totals of ¼” or less.
Expect a warming trend next week. Daytime highs will gradually warm into the mid to upper 70s. Overnight lows will return to the low to middle 50s.
