What began as the Midwest Blockchain Conference—an event that brought together over 400 students from 35 universities—has evolved into a year-round ecosystem connecting student talent with industry leaders through internships, grants, and educational opportunities.

As highlighted on LinkedIn, Evan serves as Chief of Staff at Portal Ventures, a blockchain-focused investment firm, and previously helped launch the inaugural Midwest Blockchain Conference at the University of Michigan. Shashank, an Associate Consultant at global management consulting firm Bain & Company, served as President of Michigan Blockchain and continues to advance student engagement in decentralized technology education. Together, they have expanded College.xyz from a regional event into a global platform uniting students and industry.
