Two law enforcement agencies search for known sex offender
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in the search for Leonard Clark, a convicted sex offender wanted for video voyeurism.
Clark currently has outstanding warrants from both the Shreveport Police Department and the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office for failing to register as a sex offender.
Law enforcement describes him as a repeat sexual offender, and detectives are actively working to apprehend him.
According to Louisiana State Legislature, video voyeurism is the use of any camera or any other image recording device, for the purpose of observing, viewing, photographing, filming, or videotaping a person where that person has not consented to the specific instance of observing, viewing, photographing, filming, or videotaping in an unlawful manner.
Authorities caution that anyone found to be harboring or assisting Clark could face arrest.
Anyone with information regarding Leonard Clark’s location is encouraged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300.
