SPD: Warrant issued for man who skipped annual sex offender registration

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department is looking for a man whose annual sex offender registration was not completed as required by law.

An arrest warrant was issued for Caleb Matthew Smith for failing to register as a sex offender after missing his required renewal for 2025, as required by Louisiana Revised Statutes 15:542, registration of sex offenders and child predators.

Smith was previously convicted of indecent behavior with juveniles and for failing to register previously.

Anyone with information about Smith’s location should contact Shreveport police at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
