Kingston man faces drug charges after search reveals stolen goods and explosive

KINGSTON, Ill. (WTVO) — The search of a Kingston home ends in the arrest of man on drug charges.

The DeKalb County Sherrif’s Office conducted a search warrant at the home of James Hall on Hagen Drive after it received a tip regarding possible stolen items.

During the search several stolen items along with more than 100 grams of cocaine and what is believed to be a homemade explosive device was found.

The Kane County Bomb Squad was called to the residence and removed the explosive

Hall was arrested and taken to the DeKalb County Jail.

He’s charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
