
“Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of bullying, gain a deeper understanding of what constitutes bullying, explore safe ways to report incidents, and discover how to promote kindness and respect for differences,” a press release stated. “The event will also feature interactive bullying scenarios, group discussions, a community fair, and opportunities for fun and games.”
The event will take place on Saturday, October 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Sheriff’s Safety Town, 8910 Jewella Ave. in Shreveport. Registration is required and open to teens ages 14 to 19. To register, contact Deputy Madonna Hoskins at 318-698-7233 or email madonna.hoskins@caddosheriff.org.
