Endangered missing teen girl last seen on Northwest Side
CHICAGO — Police in Chicago are seeking help from the public in the search for an endangered teen girl who has been missing for nearly a month.

According to police, 16-year-old Andrea “Drea” Puentes, who is considered to be an endangered missing juvenile, was last seen at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, in the 3500 block of North Oak Park Avenue, in Dunning, on the city’s Northwest Side.

Officers said the missing teen is known to frequent the areas near the intersections of North Sacramento Avenue and West Grand Avenue in Humboldt Park, as well as Jackson Boulevard and South Keeler Avenue in Garfield Park.

Additionally, officers said the missing teen may be in the company of friends or relatives who were not permitted to have custody of her.

Puentes, who has black hair and brown eyes, stands 5-foot-4 and weighs around 110 pounds.

Authorities offered details about the teen’s disappearance in a news release shared on Tuesday morning, but officers did not say what she was last seen wearing.
