OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) – St. James Baptist Church is set to hold its 2025 Pre-Anniversary Musical event on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 2:30 p.m.
The event will take place at the church’s location, 161 Sunnyside Avenue in Opelousas. The program is part of the church’s lead-up to its formal anniversary celebration and will showcase a range of musical performances from local and regional talent.
The musical will feature guest musicians David Sylvester and Bernadette Stevens, alongside performances from local choirs, praise teams, and other musical groups.
The musical is presented under the leadership of Pastor B. F. Arvie. The celebration aims to bring together the community through gospel music while honoring the legacy and ongoing ministry of the church.
