BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Constellation Stage & Screen will bring the Peanuts gang to life this fall with You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, running Nov. 1–16 at the Waldron Arts Center.
The production celebrates the 75th anniversary of Charles M. Schulz’s beloved comic strip, offering audiences an hour of music, humor, and heart in a special edition designed for family audiences as part of Constellation’s “Constellation for Kids” series.
Directed by Mitchell Ward, who previously helmed The True Story of the Three Little Pigs at Constellation, the show features a mix of local talent and regional performers. Bloomington native Connor Starks will star as Charlie Brown, joined by Yul Carrión as Snoopy, Cassie Hakken as Sally Brown, Reagan Cole Minnette as Lucy, Daniel Neville II as Linus, and Shaquille Towns as Schroeder.
“From kite-flying mishaps to heartfelt schoolyard crushes, this show captures the everyday humor and charm of Charlie Brown and his friends,” Constellation said in its announcement.
The creative team includes choreographer Laura Rong, music director Brandon Magid, scenic designer David Wade, lighting designer Corey Goulden-Naitove, sound designer David Sheehan, costume designer Becky Underwood, stage manager Sevin Kacsir, and assistant stage manager Kalias Brown.
In addition to the main run, Constellation will host a sensory-friendly performance on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 4 p.m. The show will include lighting, sound, and seating modifications designed for families with children who have sensory sensitivities. Tickets for this performance will be “Pay What You Will,” starting at $10.
Tickets for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown start at $18 for children and $28 for adults. They are available online at seeconstellation.org
