May the 4th is behind us now, but the fun isn’t contained to a single day for Star Wars fans. For avid readers, a brand new book called Star Wars Icons: Darth Vader, written by Anthony Breznican, is gearing up to publish on August 25 this year. It offers a detailed history of the franchise’s iconic villain, and it’s now available to preorder. What’s even better is the preorder price has already been discounted.
While it normally comes with a sizable full price tag of $225, Amazon has knocked 28% off it, dropping it down to $162.75. That’s a nice discount to jump on if you’re hoping to preorder it, and it certainly seems like quite a premium book to add to your shelf or coffee table.
Housed in a cool slipcover, this hardcover book offers a deep dive into Darth Vader, from his creation to the legacy he’s left behind. It includes exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews, concept art, collectible inserts, and on-set photography that offer readers a close look at one of cinema’s most unforgettable villains. It even includes a foreword from Anakin Skywalker himself, Hayden Christensen.
If you’re a big Star Wars fan and can’t wait to pick up this deluxe book for your library, now is the time to make a move on it while Amazon still has the preorder price discounted. It may not stay on sale for long, after all.
