Parent sues Archdiocese of Mobile, others after urine incident and brain injury, according to complaint
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A parent of a McGill-Toolen Catholic High School student has filed a lawsuit against the Archdiocese of Mobile, McGill-Toolen, and some staff members at the school after an incident involving urine allegedly led to the student getting brain damage and requiring surgery.

According to the lawsuit, the student — a freshman and member of the football team — was urinated on twice by an upperclassman team member after workouts and while they were showering ahead of school starting.

The freshman then urinated into a bottle and poured it onto the upperclassman, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit claims that after pouring the urine on the upperclassman, that student threw an aerosol can of deodorant at the freshman, hitting him in the face and head.

As a result, the freshman allegedly lost vision in his left eye, had to undergo surgery, was diagnosed with a brain injury and has “debilitating” headaches.

The parent is suing for “compensatory damages and punitive damages,” as well as the costs that the parent is “entitled by law.”
