Max Cooper, 23, has been playing music since he was just three years old. A few years ago, Cooper went viral on social media for his piano playing skills.
“A lot of people knew me just from my hands,” Cooper said. “Like they just saw my hands and the piano, they didn’t know me as a person. And I want to release music, I want to write music, I want to go on tour and I thought The Voice would be a perfect opportunity for people to see me and who I am as an artist.”
In his audition last week for “The Voice,” Cooper shocked judges with his performance of “Cooler Than Me” by Mike Posner. All four coaches were blown away by his voice, including music legends like Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé.
“All I wanted was one chair turn. I was telling my friends, one chair turn would be great,” Cooper told 27 News. “I just want to make it through and show people what I can do, and it ended up being four, and what an honor it was.”
Because all four coaches turned their chairs, Cooper got to choose who he wanted to represent him on “The Voice.” Cooper chose Bublé.
Lately, Cooper has been writing a lot of music, and soon he hopes to release his songs and go on tour. In the meantime, you can follow to watch Max Cooper’s journey on “The Voice” here on KSNT.
