A first-round pick by Minnesota in 2024, Culpepper split this season between High-A Cedar Rapids and Double-A Wichita.
He combined to hit just over .300 with double-digit home runs and more than a dozen stolen bases while anchoring the left side of the infield. The 22-year-old was also selected to the All-Star Futures Game during the summer.
An All-American at K-State, Culpepper was a three-year starter at Kansas State and an All-Big 12 performer before turning pro.
He is expected to open next season at Double-A or Triple-A with a chance to push for his major-league debut later in the year.
