Thousands of Entergy customers without power on Westbank in Jefferson Parish

JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Thousands of Entergy customers in Jefferson Parish are without power on Tuesday, Sept. 23.

According to the Entergy Outage Map, more than 6,000 customers on the Westbank are experiencing the outage as of 3 p.m.

An Entergy spokesperson said crews are working to make repairs and restore power to the area.

The spokesperson said the outage was caused at a nearby substation.
