ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Four people were arrested as a result of a drug investigation in St. John the Baptist Parish Wednesday, Sept. 17.
According to the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office, the narcotics division began investigating 33-year-old Kemone Clofer of Reserve in July. Clofer was arrested Sept. 17, and police searched his house. Detectives allegedly found 600 methamphetamine tablets, around 28 grams of crystal methamphetamine, over a pound of marijuana, a stolen firearm and $4,000.
SJBPO officials said three additional people were arrested Sept. 17. after a vehicle pursuit in LaPlace. Police said the occupants began throwing narcotics out the windows until deputies were able to get the vehicle stopped. 38-year-old Derrence Greenup of LaPlace, 41-year-old Brandon Roy of Reserve and 33-year-old Dominique Berry of New Orleans were arrested.
Investigators allegedly recovered around 134 grams of crystal methamphetamine, around 58 grams of cocaine, 129 methamphetamine tablets, 43 alprazolam tablets and over a pound of marijuana.
