ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Three people have been arrested following a drug bust that happened in St. John the Baptist Parish on Friday, May 30.
According to the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office, the arrests came following a months-long investigation, and particularly the investigation into one of the suspects, identified as 43-year-old Amandzo Williams, beginning back in late April.
That investigation led to search warrants being executed on two homes in LaPlace, one in the 1100 block of Heather Lane and the other in the 100 block of Apricot Street, resulting in the arrests of three suspects, identified as Amandzo, 55-year-old Grant Williams and 42-year-old Namoel Richardson.
Investigators also say that during the searches, the following items were seized: two firearms, around 100 grams of crack cocaine, around 1100 methamphetamine tablets, around 700 grams of marijuana and over $6,500 in cash.
The suspects have been booked on the following charges:
