MAYFIELD, Ky. (FOX 56) — First responders gathered in Mayfield on Thursday afternoon when an airplane ran off a runway at the Mayfield Airport before hitting a residence.
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that the crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Sept. 18. The plane hit a residence on the southern side of KY-58 East.
According to deputies, no one involved in the crash was hurt, but KY-58 East from KY-131 to Byrd Road has been shut down for an unknown amount of time.
