Death investigation underway after body found in Castleton pond

INDIANAPOLIS – A death investigation is underway after a body was found in a pond in the Castleton area.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, North District officers were called to East 82^nd and Craig streets on Wednesday morning.

Police found a body in the water. The Indianapolis Fire Department was assisting at the scene.

IMPD described this as a death investigation. No additional information was available.
