Frankfort police arrest 4 on meth dealing charges; Officers still searching for 1 additional suspect

FRANKFORT, Ind. — The Frankfort Police Department has arrested four people on meth dealing charges.

the arrests officers made were the result of multiple lengthy investigations conducted by the agency’s narcotics unit. It is currently unclear if the suspects were all part of the same alleged operation or if their arrests unrelated.

FPD released the following list of the arrestees’ names and charges:

35-year-old Kyle Bybee of Frankfort

  • Dealing 10 or more grams of methamphetamine — a Level 2 Felony
  • Dealing 10 or more grams of methamphetamine with a prior conviction — a Level 2 Felony
  • Dealing between five and 10 grams of methamphetamine with a prior conviction — a Level 3 Felony

46-year-old Tina Brown of Frankfort

  • Three counts of dealing between five and 10 grams of methamphetamine (all Level 3 Felonies)

41-year-old Jamie Lewis of Frankfort

  • Dealing 10 or more grams of methamphetamine — a Level 2 Felony

60-year-old Larry Cunningham of Frankfort

  • Dealing between five and 10 grams of methamphetamine — a Level 3 Felony
  • Dealing between one and five grams of methamphetamine — a Level 4 Felony

In its release, FPD indicated that its officers attempted to serve five arrest warrants for meth-related charges at the conclusion of its narcotics unit’s investigation. While four of those were successfully served, one of the warrants is still outstanding.

FPD reported that it is still searching for 52-year-old Charles Bryant of Frankfort. He is wanted on two preliminary Level 3 Felony charges. Both of the charges that Bryant is wanted for pertain to meth dealing.

“Our narcotics detectives work tirelessly to investigate those who deal illegal drugs in our city,” Chief Scott Shoemaker said via release. “My request to Charles Bryant is to stop running, turn yourself in and make a change in your life. It is never too late.”
