By rssfeeds-admin CHICAGO — A 21-year-old man was shot in the head and killed at a gas station on the city’s Near West Side.
The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. Sunday at a Shell gas station located at Western Avenue and Warren Boulevard.
According to police, officers responded to a call of a person shot and found the man unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
A witness told officers that two unidentified offenders exited a black sedan and shot at the man before returning to the vehicle and fleeing the scene.
No one is in custody. Area Three Detectives are investigating.
