Rollover crash in Murray leaves one dead, suspect remains at-large

MURRAY, Utah (ABC4) — A rollover crash in Murray left one dead on Saturday at the intersection of 5300 south and Woodrow Street, according to officials with Murray City Police Department.

An SUV traveling eastbound on 5300 South was turning left onto Woodrow Street when it was struck by a truck traveling westbound, causing the truck to roll.

The truck was carrying three occupants. Two of the occupants fled on foot, while the other, a man in his 30s or 40s, was stuck in the vehicle, partially ejected.

The man was transported to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.

One of the occupants who fled was found, but the other remains at-large.

The SUV was carrying two occupants, both of whom are being treated for minor injuries.

The area remains closed for several hours as the crash remains under investigation.
