Deputies responded to a home on Jones Street, where two children, ages 12 and 7, were with Bell. When the children were picked up, the parent noticed that both were hurt.

It was later discovered that Bell allegedly repeatedly hit the children with an exercise band.

Deputies questioned the children and found their stories to be consistent with their injuries.

The Napoleonville man was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center. Bell has a bond set at $70,000.
