According to Louisiana Economic Development, the tournament will take place at the New Orleans City Park Bayou Oaks South Course from June 26 through June 28, 2026.
The announcement was made at a news conference on Wednesday, Aug. 27.
LED officials said the course will be designed and renovated by former LIV Golf CEO and Commissioner Greg Norman, with plans including to lengthen the course, refine bunkers and enhance spectator areas.
The tournament is reportedly expected to support more than 1,150 jobs and bring an estimated $40 million economic impact.
LED officials said they entered a cooperative endeavor agreement with LIV Golf “to support performance-based funding for event operations and South Course renovations.”
