Teen arrested for false bombing threat in St. Martin Parish

ST. MARTIN PARISH, La. (KLFY) – A 17-year-old from St. Martin Parish was arrested for allegedly communicating false information about a planned bombing related to school property.

Brooklan Rossyion was taken into custody by the St. Martin Sheriff after a comment he made on a bus was reported and investigated. “He is a male subject who made a comment on the bus and it was reported and investigated,” said Major Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The charges against Rossyion include communicating false information of a planned bombing on school property, at a school-sponsored function, or in a firearm-free zone. The investigation into the incident is still pending, and it is unclear what the specific content of the comment was.
