MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Southaven Police say a male suspect is charged after a 52-year-old Maryland man was shot Wednesday.
Police identified the victim in Wednesday’s shooting on Burton Lane in Southaven as Reginald Carroll. Carroll died of his injuries, police said.

CBS News says Carroll was a comedian from Baltimore.
The suspect charged in his death has not been identified, but is in custody, Southaven police said Saturday.
