VSP issues alert for missing man last seen walking in Alexandria
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — Virginia State Police (VSP) has activated a Critically Missing Adult Alert for a man who disappeared in Alexandria early Friday morning.

Around 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 22, state police issued the alert for 27-year-old Charles Davon Finley. According to VSP, Finley was last seen walking in the 300 block of Wythe Street just minutes after midnight.

At the time of his disappearance, Finley was possibly wearing a red shirt and gray sweatpants with black shoes. He was also carrying a gray backpack and a pink handbag.

Investigators described the 27-year-old as around 5 feet and 6 inches tall with brown eyes and black hair. He weighs around 155 lbs.

VSP noted that Finley’s disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.

On Friday morning, the Fairfax County police used its helicopter to assist with the search.

Anyone who sees him is urged to call 911 immediately.
