Hamilton horse stable provides statement following investigation

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Officials said more than 20 horses were seized after an investigation was launched into a horse stable in Hamilton.

The Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS) said it is investigating a horse stable, which previously operated under the business name Eudora Hollow Stables, owned by Amanda Cram. 

Chris Brosan, the Chief of Humane Law Enforcement, told DC News Now that they had received a tip about the stable that caused concern.

Brosan said as a result, 28 horses were seized.

Eudora Hollow Stables told DC News Now in a statement that they will keep fighting.

“It sets a precedent for horse owners everywhere that even if [you] have evidence, are in compliance with laws, have records, valuable witnesses who actually KNOW you and you work with, if there is a will, there is a way,” Eudora Hollow Stables’ statement read, in part. “Thankfully I am able to preserve everything I needed to in order to show the clear conflict of interest.”

LCAS is asking anyone who has received boarding or other services from the stable to call 703-777-0406 with any information.
