Bossier Parish senior girls invited to apply for leadership program

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Commission for Women of Bossier City is now accepting applications for its 2025–26 Women Leaders of Tomorrow mentoring program that pairs high school senior girls with Commissioners to cultivate leadership, etiquette, civic knowledge, and more.

Established in 1986, the commission aims to foster confident independence among local young women. The mentoring initiative enriches educational experiences by offering students practical exposure to local government, team-building, etiquette instruction, and workshops on quality-of-life topics.

High school senior girls from Bossier Parish will be matched with Commissioners, who serve as mentors throughout the 2025–26 academic year. The program culminates in an opportunity for mentees to apply for scholarships based on their development and participation.

Completed applications must be submitted to the high school senior counselors by noon on Friday, August 22, 2025.
