According to the Roy City Police Department, they have taken reports of graffiti at multiple different parks and neighborhoods throughout the city. As a result, they are conducting extra patrols in those areas.
The Roy City Police Department has also said that they are conducting zero tolerance policies in those patrols. They said, “Any juveniles found out after curfew will be issued citations and parents will be required to pick them up from the officers.”

According to Roy City’s Municipal Code 5-2-5, any individual under the age of 18 must not be on public property, vacant lots, or the streets within Roy City between midnight and five a.m.
The only exceptions are when minors are accompanied by an adult, attending or returning home from an event supervised by an adult, at work, or during an emergency errand as directed by an adult.
Additionally, Roy City Police Department says they will also be issuing citations for trespassing to anyone inside a city park after hours.
