August heat and scattered rain for the weekend

Different day, same weather for Acadiana as we remain seasonably hot and muggy with scattered rain during the afternoon. Highs today and the weekend will near the mid 90s with a heat index from 105° to 108°. Besides of few showers during the morning, scattered rain is possible for the afternoon and evening hours.
