More than 60 employees from every parish department took part in three sessions to learn valuable skills such as stopping someone from bleeding and hands-only CPR skills.
The training classes were led by Desirae Snell, community relations manager for Acadian Ambulance, and EMT Nick White, along with the support of Acadian Ambulance operations supervisor Justin Alleman.
“Our goal is to give everyone the skills and knowledge to act quickly and effectively when it matters most. Community preparedness is something we all have to work on together,” said Alleman.
Acadian Ambulance encourages everyone to develop these life-saving skills and participate in community safety.
