Fire damages Mississippi preschool

COAHOMA COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Coahoma County firefighters responded to a fire at a preschool.

The fire occurred at the preschool on South Street in Friars Point around 10:30 p.m. on August 5.

According to the Coahoma County Fire Department, crews discovered heavy smoke and active fire showing from the roof of the building. They were able to extinguish the fire.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
