Child sexually assaulted and left for dead in Caddo Parish home

CADDO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A man who allegedly sexually assaulted a juvenile and left them for dead was arrested by the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Caddo Patrol Deputies responded to a sexual assault on Farmridge Road just before 2 a.m. on Saturday. Deputies reportedly found a young child who was sexually assaulted and lying lifeless inside the home.

The CPSO said the victim, suffering from life-threatening injuries, was brought to a local hospital. Detectives identified and arrested a suspect, 31-year-old Lucas Logan of Stonewall, who faces charges of first-degree rape and attempted first-degree murder.
