Preliminary investigations indicate that the truck’s crane arm was extended upright as it struck an overpass, causing the vehicle to lose control and roll.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries have been reported, Lehi PD says.

Eastbound 2100 North from 2300 West remains closed as crews continue to work to clear the scene. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
