Three-day Redneck Derby event coming to DeSoto Motorsport Park

DESOTO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — This year’s Redneck Derby will take place in DeSoto Parish.

The event will feature a 100-team race divided into two categories: the Women’s Derby and the RedNeck Derby. The race will last two hours, and each team can have three drivers. According to the event’s website, every 20 minutes, teams will need to make a pit stop to swap drivers, allowing each participant to have two 20-minute driving sessions.

Before entering the race car, racers must sign a release form and obtain a wristband, which will be checked before they are allowed on the track.

Registration for The Women’s Derby is $100 and $150 for The RedNeck 100 Team event.

The RedNeck Derby will be a three-day event, taking place from Friday, November 14, through Sunday, November 16. For more information, visit desotomotorsportpark.com.
