SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – In what they are calling “the coolest way to beat the heat” Shreveport Parks and Recreation Department (SPAR) are doubling up on the fun with back to back Splash Weekend Events.
The free family event aims to give participants back to school with a splash.
The fun in the sun water day will feature:
Giant Water Inflatables
Free Italian Ice
Free hot dogs and chips
You can slide in on the fun at Airport Park, located at 6500 Kennedy Street. The event will be held on both Saturdays and Sundays during the weekends of August 2 and August 9, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
