NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – It’s been a streak of waking up to a new day with another Heat Advisory and Wednesday unfortunately is no different except now we have storms in the mix.

The Heat Advisory for Wednesday is similar to the previous days in that it starts at 10 a.m. and runs through 7 p.m., but there is no Extreme Heat Warning.

Here’s a look at the expected highs for your “Hump Day”:

These high temperatures aren’t as bad as what we saw say on Monday, but the humidity is really what will make it uncomfortable with the “Oppressive Feels.”

And unfortunately, there’s not any real relief expected for the rest of this week.

In fact, I’m predicting that we could see a few more days with a Heat Advisory so please be sure to continue staying hydrated, limit your time outdoors especially during the peak hours of the day, “rock the ‘block” or sunscreen and check-in on folks that don’t do well in this type of heat.

But getting back to the chance to see showers and storms on Wednesday…

Early on, won’t be too bad with a few passing so nothing that will be too impactful for your morning commute, but it’s really mid-day through the evening where we will see the heaviest.
