In the tropics, we are seeing overall quiet conditions. A blob of showers and thunderstorms in the middle Atlantic is not expected to do much and we’ll watch a tropical wave exiting the African coast through the next two weeks. Tropical development is not expected through the next week.

Locally, we will see very hot and humid conditions through midweek. By the end of the week, we will see increased rain chances as a weak front settles along the coast. This will lead to widespread storminess through the weekend with heavy rain possible at times. This will also help to bring daytime temperatures down to the upper 80s for highs.
