Southern Swingers offering square dancing classes in Bossier

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Anyone looking for a way to move their body, meet new people, and have a good time won’t want to miss this free chance to dance with a popular local square dance group.

Southern Swingers Square Dance Club is offering beginner square dance lessons starting August 5. Lessons throughout the month will be offered at no cost, and refreshments will be available. Square dancing is a low-impact activity, and dancers of all skill levels are welcome to register. Southern Swingers dance to all types of music and welcome dancers of all ages who enjoy moving their feet in the company of others.

The dress code is casual; comfortable shoes are recommended. Just bring a smile, have fun, and laugh.

Registration: August 5 from 6:30 to 6:55 p.m.

Dancing: 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Location: Promenade Hall, 5400 Benton Road (Highway 3), Bossier City, La. – just south of the Kingston Road intersection.
